Our story
A food truck with a generous point of view.
Jimmy's Waffle World began with a love of waffles and a desire to connect directly with people. The result is a colourful Surf 60s-inspired truck where familiar comfort food gets a fresh, playful point of view.
The menu moves easily from sweet to savoury: signature waffles, corn dogs, soups, compound salads, milkshakes, chef-prepared meals, and daily specials made in small batches. It is food that feels considered without ever feeling precious.
Most importantly, it is a place built to include. Jimmy keeps a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices in the conversation, so more people can share the same table.
Meet the chef
A career shaped by curiosity.
Jimmy Lafrenière is a Cordon Bleu chef whose hospitality career has taken him through hotels, restaurants, resorts, universities, and private kitchens, including Chateau Montebello, Chateau Laurier, Club Med Turks & Caicos, and Beverly Hills.
His love of people, travel, flavour, gardening, and a good soundtrack all show up at the truck. You can taste the experience, but you can also feel the welcome.
